Hello, my name is Jay.

I first picked up a camera when I was living in Okinawa, Japan, while serving in the Marine Corps. The camera has opened new doors to experiences that I would have never dreamed of before. Giving me motivation to travel more, and ultimately to meet new people.

At some point my interest of street photography blended with portrait photography as I loved having the opportunity to meet new people, and explore Tokyo creating new memories and new friendships.

Today, my camera almost feels as if it is an extension of myself. It has helped me meet some incredible people; from other photographers and adventurers, to celebrities and influencers.

My favorite thing about Tokyo is the opportunity for connection. It is both massive and chaotic at first glance. Having spent nearly ten years here everything just clicks, and I enjoy teaching people how to navigate the city as much as I enjoy capturing every moment!
